Who We Are?

Welcome to Ayur mantra

Ayurveda is a union of two sanskrit words “Ayus”, which means life, and “Veda”, which means knowledge or science. Ayurveda is a 5000 year old precious treasure, learnt, preserved and nurtured by the Indian culture. It has a power to infuse life in the body. It is a science of life and not merely the body. Ayurveda heals the body, the mind and the spirit, thus bringing complete harmony in the patient’s life.

Ailments occur due to an imbalance in the body or the mind, and thus, ayurveda, with the help of diets, massages, herbs, meditations and special treatments brings harmony and balance back in the body and life overall.

Kerala ayurveda is world famous for its superior healing properties, not only curing the root of the ailments but also rejuvenating the body, relaxing the mind and keeping the spirit healthy and energized.

The Story Behind Ayur Mantra

Vijith VK

founder ayurmantra

I started my career in 2003 from Dr.Sudha’s Ayurveda Kendra, the first Ayurvedic hospital in Delhi. Dr. Sudha Asokan, the most renowned Ayurvedic doctor in North India, has cured tens of thousands of patients, including many celebrities. The 7 years I spent there was indeed a milestone in my career as I could gather a comprehensive knowledge about the Ayurvedic system. I proceeded to learn ‘International massages and yoga meditation ‘,after which I worked in a spa as an Ayurvedic trainer and senior therapist. The year 2010 was a turning point in my life as I got the golden opportunity to fly to UK. I worked in an Ayurvedic centre there for more than 8 years. With the birth of my son, I changed my job as a carer in a care home. By god’s grace, I am a senior carer now. I also started giving massages to my friends and family. It gave me utmost pleasure and gratification to see them relieved of their stress and pain. My joy knew no bounds as I succeeded in providing the most authentic Ayurvedic experience to my customers. Ever since I have nurtured an ardent desire to set up a clinic on my own. And finally….. My long-cherished dream has come true!!!

Remya Vijith

CO-founder ayurmantra

Remya had her training in 2006 from Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala, known for its heritage and expertise in the Ayurvedic system of medicine. After the successful completion of her training, she got placed in a hospital in Thane, Maharashtra and had been there for a couple of years. In 2009 and 2010, she worked with a luxury hotel, “The Lalit”, as a spa therapist. We got married in 2011 and Remya joined me in UK the same year. Both of us had a wonderful time working together in the same ayurvedic center. But she couldn’t continue for long due to pregnancy. After delivery she started working in  NHS. Remya too was giving massages for friends and family. We complemented each other and the outcome was stupendous – We have to our credit a fairly long list of happy customers. Remya had always been with me through thick and thin and now both of us are excitedly looking forward to the materialisation of our long-cherished dream…
